Official Polk County criminal-record requests belong with the government office that created or maintains the file. The Sheriff handles county jail and sheriff records, while the Superior Court Clerk holds felony court files. This private resource cannot retrieve, alter, or certify those records.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated resource cannot obtain criminal records, run official checks, correct a record, or accept a Georgia record restriction filing. Contact the responsible agency directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that matches the requested Polk County record:

  • Court case files: review criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
  • Georgia criminal histories: follow the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Georgia Crime Information Center procedure
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Polk County Sheriff
  • Official fingerprint checks: use the authorized GAPS/IdentoGO route with the required service code
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Record restriction or sealing: follow the Georgia process for the arrest date and disposition, using the arresting agency, prosecutor, or court as required

For sheriff reports, booking records, and current custody, contact the Polk County Sheriff and Jail, 1676 Rockmart Highway, Cedartown, GA 30125, at 770-749-2900. Call before visiting because separate records-counter hours are not posted.

For Polk Superior Court criminal files, contact the Superior Court Clerk, Courthouse No. 1, 100 Prior Street, Suite 106, Cedartown, GA 30125, at 770-749-2114. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The clerk provides public terminals but does not perform broad criminal searches.
